Melissa Joan Hart Says That She Just Can't Get Enough Johnson.

Hart, 40 Endorses Gary Johnson for President. "America is Ready for a Third Party President,"

As Chris Matthews on MSNBC was trying to damage Gary Johnson, Actress Melissa Joan Hart was on another network espousing the virtues of Johnson.

Melissa Joan Hart thinks America is ready to elect a third-party president. The actress formerly known as Sabrina the Teenage Witch likes Johnson so much, that she has agreed to serve as Chairman of his Connecticut State Campaign.

"I want to break away from this two-party system and I think it's important for people to know that there's another candidate out there who really toes the line between Democrat and Republican," she said, Explaining it All. "I mean he's Libertarian. But socially he's liberal, and fiscally conservative."

George Bush and Barack Obama together have racked up $20,000,000,000 to add to the National Debt. That's TWENTY TRILLION DOLLARS, she says.

It's not just Johnson's party affiliation that appeals to Hart, it's his experience as governor of the State of New Mexico from 1995 to 2003.

"Governors, I love, because they already ran their state as like a little president," she said. "So he gets the way, you know, things run. The politics of it all."

While Hart, 40, acknowledged that Johnson doesn't appeal to everyone and probably won't win the election, the actress-turned-politico said she hopes he'll at least be given the chance to participate in one of the two remaining presidential debates.

"I think that everyone that I keep hearing say that, if they all voted for him we could have a third party win," she said. "Even if he doesn't get that far, I just hope that they let him debate."

Melissa Joan Hart, 40 is an actress, director, producer, singer, fashion designer, and businesswoman. She is known for her title roles in the sitcoms Clarissa Explains It All (1991–94), Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (1996–2003), and Melissa & Joey (2010–15).

Hart has been married to musician Mark Wilkerson since July 19, 2003; together, they have three children.

Hart noted that this week marks 20 years since Sabrina the Teenage Witch premiered on NBC.
