Amber Alert Cancelled for Three Year Old Boy Simi Valley Boy and His Father

Father took the child after a domestic dispute, threatening to injure himself, the boy or both.

Update, 8:45 pm PST: Simi Valley police issued then cancelled an Amber Alert for 31-year-old Anthony Giarraputo and his 4-year-old son, Jaden. An hour later, they found both and cancelled the alert.

Police said there was a domestic dispute during which the child's mother was assaulted, and Anthony fled with their child, indicating he might harm himself. Less than half an hour after the Amber Alert was issued, both were found safely, CHP officials said.

At 7:35 pm PST Sunday Night, the CHP issued an Amber Alert Issued for 3 year old boy: Simi Valley, Kia Soule License Plate 7JEX347

"An Amber Alert is being issued by the California Highway Patrol, on behalf of the Simi Valley Police Dept. and is in effect for the following counties only: Kern, Los Angeles, San Louis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura.

On December 11, 2016, at 1230 PM, Jaden Giarraputo was abducted from Simi Valley, CA. Jaden Giarraputo is a 3 year old white male, 3 feet tall, weighing 35 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a Gray T0-shirt, blue shorts and blue shoes.

The suspect Anthony Giarraputo, is a 31 year old white male, standing 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 220 pounds. He is described as having brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing gray shorts.

Giarraputo was last seen driving a 2015 Blue Kia Soule, with California license plate number 7JEX347."

That Amber alert was the Best way to make sure the Boy was safe and to make sure he wasn't going to get harmed in any way by his father..

I felt compelled to post after reading the comment posted prior to mine. I could not disagree more. I do not care what the domestic circumstances are. If a child is missing/taken from where they are supposed to be (by a stranger or estranged parent/family member) an alert must be issued to the public in an effort to recover the child. Child safety is paramount.

Okay so his dad kidnap him. I don't think that Amber Alerts should be used in this way. If a pervert abducts a child that's what I want to know about and stuff from happening. Don't stop the presses because a parent wants their child
