Bachelor Gulch Introduces The Newest Member of the 'Bachelor Pack.'

Adorable Bernese Mountain Puppy, 'Scout,' Will Join the Resort Just in Time for the Holidays

BEAVER CREEK, Colo. – December 19, 2016 – Christmas came early this year at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch with the arrival of a new canine ambassador, Scout, a nine-week old Bernese Mountain Dog puppy. Scout will join the resort's other furry friend, Bachelor – a one-year old Saint Bernard – as the official canine mascots of the pet-friendly resort set amongst the picturesque Beaver Creek Mountain.

Weighing in at just 15 pounds, Scout's sizeable paws lead her owners to believe she will likely weigh up to 90 pounds when she's full grown. Already a snow enthusiast and mastering her puppy training, Scout looks forward to being officially introduced to resort guests in the new year. Upon her debut, hotel guests and their own furry friends will be able to meet both Bachelor and Scout during their stay with regular lobby visits year-round and seasonal adventures in the surrounding area with the resort's Resident Naturalist, Ranger Jackie.

With the belief that four-legged friends should enjoy the same outstanding luxury as their families, The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch goes above and beyond to make sure their canine guests feel just as at home as Bachelor and Scout do. Inspired by Bachelor himself, the resort offers an exclusive "Bachelor's Pack" for guest pups that includes all-natural pet food available for in-room orders, special treat deliveries, 'Pampered Pup' in-room doggie massages and bath treatments presented by The Bachelor Gulch Spa, premium dog bowls, overstuffed beds, and more. "Bachelor's Pack" also comes with treats and a guide to local dog parks, canine-friendly dining spots, and a directory of pet supplies and services.

A pet-friendly paradise any season of the year, The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch offers a handful of gorgeous trails in its very own backyard, perfect for outdoor adventures. With daily snowshoe hikes and stargazing in the winter, and wildflower hikes and picnics in the summer, canine companions will enjoy everything the exclusive Rocky Mountain resort has to offer just as much as their owners do.
