Hollywood Stars Set to Shine at Dubai's largest Beauty Show and Trade Fair

Beautyworld Middle East starts on May 14th in Dubai at the Dubai Convention center

 

Beauty World 2017 is expected to draw over 37,000 visitors from 131 countries and featured over 1,500 exhibitors from 60 countries

The Beautyworld Middle East is the region's largest international trade fair for beauty products, hair, fragrances and wellbeing.

The annual showcase has built a reputation of attracting the largest brands and the biggest names in the professional beauty business. Now in it's 22nd year, Beautyworld Middle East will take place from 14 - 16 May 2017 in Dubai, UAE.

This year, the show is expected to welcome over 37,000 visitors from 131 countries and featured over 1,500 exhibitors from 60 countries. 21 country pavilions from India to Morocco and also the USA will underline the strong international flavor.

The Hollywood Celebrity hair artist Guy Tang will be this years headline act. The self-proclaimed "Hair activist" will showcase the hottest trends and coloring techniques at center stage sponsored by the Nazih Group. These will be indispensable arsenal that every stylist should have in their salon. "I have been travelling the world sharing my knowledge and techniques and I'm so excited to be at the Beautyworld Middle East show in Dubai for the very first time" confesses Tang.

Nazih Hamad, the CEO of the Nazih Group says, " Having Guy come to Dubai means a lot to the Middle East beauty industry. He will inspire his peers in the industry with his charismatic personality and cutting edge techniques".

Mr.Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Messe Frankfurt, the Events planning firm that organizes the BWME said: "The Middle East is the worlds fastest growing market for beauty and personal care so it's a wonderful opportunity when high profile names like Guy Tang come to the region to inspire their peers. "

This statement rings true as the event is attracting the attention of many US Based beauty companies. This year there will be 34 US Based cosmetic brands that will have a presence at BWME 2017 (24 in the Californian pavilion). The top 5 brands present this year are: Lady Burd Cosmetics, Palladio Beauty, Bio Creative Labs, Wilma Schumann Skincare and Universal Beauty products.

As the largest beauty show in the Middle East, the BWME offers US Company's access to a growing market in the beauty industry and the potential of a competitive market share. This is a thriving market for any company looking to distribute their products globally. It is growing exponentially and not looking to slow down anytime soon. Markets like the Middle East run solely on dependable partnerships and trustworthy relationships. Venues like the BWME help the foreign companies to find solid alliances with which they can penetrate the marketplace.

The CEO of TMY products, Tamer Abdelaal, says, "Customers all over the world value American products because they trust its quality especially cosmetics. Also, the US is well regulated so most American products are well certified and the US brands are able to provide all the necessary documentation and certifications required by most countries around the world".

Another brand CEO of J Cat Beauty Enterprises, Jeannie Lee adds 'internationally since we now live in a digital world and people are able to have access with multiple digital platform such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc. There are so many well-known influencers online and celebrities that are using products that are hard to find in the Middle East. This makes the US brands very valuable and appealing. There are certain products that are available only in the US so it allows Dubai based businesses to sell something out of the norm and differentiate themselves from their competitors".

The CEO of Lady Burd cosmetics, Kari-lyn Mapes admits, "Attendance at a show like this helps US Brands increase partnerships and secure relationships with a variety of companies in the Middle East because of the exposure gained from BeautyWorld. The Beautyworld Middle East is set to be star studded with local celebrities and social media stars attending. It starts on May 14th in Dubai and will be housed at the Dubai Convention center and set to be a big success once again.
