GBK ushers in the New Year with the 2018 Golden Globe Celebrity-Gifting Lounge

Los Angeles- January 2018, The Golden Globes marks the beginning of the Award season, and this year is proving to be a remarkable, highly contested award season in the world of entertainment. GBK, the veteran Luxury Lifestyle Gifting and special events company honored the 2018 Golden Globe Nominees and Presenters by hosting its Annual Nominees and presents Luxury gifting lounge. Held at a luxurious 5- star hotel, The Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills, appropriately so. This year the guests were treated to a lavish array of gifts and services.

The main sponsor of this years lounge was 24K-Blue Nun, a luxury winery brand based in Germany who were gifting a bottle of champagne with 24k gold flakes valued at $500! The champagne tasted sweet, crisp and refreshing, perfect for any occasion.

A regular feature sponsor of past GBK gifting lounges, The Artisan Group were also present this year and they showcased a collection of handcrafted jewelry and accessories, spa and bath products, stationery and other wonderful handmade gifts.

Australian handbag brand Avery Verse bag Company showcased their luxurious handbags, handcrafter from eco-friendly Italian leather. They decisbe their handbags as "Pieces of Art with Social Conscience".

A unique brand that was present was the Avocado Sock, an all-natural and effective way to speed up the ripening process of an Avocado to its perfection.

BOPULENT jewelry brand was present, gifting their handmade customized luxurious fine jewelry from California.

Prestigious southern Californian Spa line, Burke Williams was presents again this year, after their recent successful opening of a new location in West Hollywood. They were offering on site massages and guests were given gift certificates to visit their new location in West Hollywood and enjoy the services at a later date.

Award season gift events are rarely complete without an exotic vacation resort getaway for the guests. This year was no different and the GBK event Caribbean tours give away luxurious trips to the Caribbean islands.

Kinetic Magik was present gifting an immersive augmented reality video projection installation for recipients to entertain future parties and guests with interactive visuals highlighting beautiful stylized versions of themselves dancing on a life- size screen.

Beauty brand Luminsque, a pioneer in CO2 therapy technology. This brand uses CO2Lift, a state of the art Carboxy treatment therapy mask for the face, eyes and neck. This has been clinically proven to lift, hydrate and rejuvenate with immediate results.

Other brands present were LMK ART presenting guests with a piece of illustrious art work, Noshinko- a completely organic premium hand sanitizer inspired by Japan and Nanoleaf, a sound module that can plug into the Nanoleaf light panel, translating the sounds into melodic light shows.

Another tech brand present was The Mill- a visual affects and contents creation studio collaborating on VFX, Digital and design projects.

The mill is demonstrating their cutting-edge narrative content in Virtual reality around the topic of bravery.

Completing this are headphones courtesy of Vinci Headphones. These are SIM- Enabled standalone music player offering seamless AI with integrated, music, voice and touch control. It's the world first stand-alone artificial Intelligence headphones.

Another feature sponsor of the suite, Mymanu is a manufacturer and designer of smart consumer electronics that enrich people's experience with the power of sound. They were gifting Mymanu Clik- the world first truly wireless ear buds with the most pristine sound quality.

A premiere beauty brand present was Too Faced, well known to having the best color and eye shadow palettes in the market. They were showcasing their Chocolate Gold Bar Palate, bronzer, lip-gloss and their best selling "Better than Sex" mascara.

Guests enjoyed Gourmet drinks and gourmet cuisine such as Moraga Vineyard, which poured decadent wines and champagne. Japanese sake brand, Hiro Gold sake showcased their latest line of delicious sake, Hiro Blue Sake handcrafted in Nigata, Japan and is naturally gluten free, sulfate free and low in calories. Good Greek grill café, LA's only authentic Greek Gyro spot was on site providing delicious Greek Gyros and gifting an exclusive Gyro party.

The sweet sounds and tunes were spun by DJ and MC, Adam Gomez who kept the crowd on their feet the entire time.

Philanthropy has always been an integral part of any GBK event and this year the charity beneficiaries included:

Today I'm Brave- a non- profit gifting inspirational accessories and products that encourage bravery everyday. They encouraged guest to share their bravery stories on camera as well to be uploaded on their website.

Heroes Wanted- Rodney D Bullard, executive of the Chick-Fill- A foundation was onsite presenting his new book- Heroes Wanted. An inspirational and motivational book about how to be compassionate, understanding the nature of true courage and inspiring others by sharing your story and setting an example.

Food on Foot- a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting the poor and homeless of LA through programs that provide nutritional meals.
