Police Investigate, Actor Corey Feldman Says He Was Attacked And Stabbed

No lacerations found on the Gremlin's Actor

Los Angeles police are investigating after actor Corey Feldman claimed he was stabbed Tuesday night in Tarzana.

The alleged incident happened around 10:45 p.m. at the intersection of Reseda and Ventura boulevards, multiple media outlets reported citing the Los Angeles Police Department.

Feldman and a passenger were at stoplight when somebody approached the driver's window and made a "jabbing motion" before fleeing, told Officer Drake Madison KTLA5.

Feldman had not stabbing wounds to his stomach, he added.

Earlier on Twitter the actor said he had been stabbed during the incident.

"IM IN THE HOSPITAL! I WAS ATTACKED 2NITE! A MAN OPENED MY CAR DOOR & STABBED ME W SOMETHING," he posted on the social media website.

"PLEASE SAY PRAYERS 4 US! THANK GOD IT WAS ONLY MYSELF & MY SECURITY IN THE CAR, WHEN 3 MEN APPROACHED! WHILE SECURITY WAS DISTRACTED, W A GUY A CAR PULLED UP & ATTACKED," he added. He also tweeted that the Los Angeles Police Department was investigating the case as an attempted homicide.

Feldman became known during the 1980s, with roles in films such as "Gremlins" (1984), "The Goonies" (1985) and "Stand by Me" (1986).
