    On April 3, Brunei put into effect Islamic Sharia laws that allow for amputation for theft and stoning to death for adultery and homosexual sex.     4/7/2019: Earlier today the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office filed charges on Brendan Bunnell, a 23-year old male, for a residential robbery. On April 2, 2019, at about 6:50AM SMPD responded to a residential burglary that had just occurred in the 1400 block of Grant St. The lone resident woke up to Bunnell in his house.     Ground broke on Tuesday for a new structure, dubbed the Discovery Building, at the Santa Monica High School campus.
