    Will Smith, 34, former defensive end for the NFL's New Orleans Saints, died of "multiple gunshot wounds" after a traffic accident in the City's Lower Garden District. New Orleans City Police Department said in a statement that Smith had bumped into Cardell Hayes, 29, and the matter escalated.     A shallow magnitude 2.6 earthquake was reported Friday morning six miles from Malibu, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 7:11 a.m. PDT at a depth of 9.3 miles. According to the USGS, the epicenter was eight miles from Thousand Oaks, nine miles from Agoura Hills, and 11 miles from Agoura.     An hour before dawn on April 5, a man was stabbed to death. No one saw it but the murderer. Officers responded to a homicide call at 1548 5th Street, Apt. 408. The building is a homeless halfway shelter called Step Up on 5th" at 4:30am on Tuesday April 5, according to the SMPD.
