A transient man was shot to death in Venice by Los Angeles police responding to a report of someone “disturbing the peace.” The man, identified as Brendon Glenn, was described as a black male in his mid-to-late 20s. City News Service says Susumu Ueda was sentenced Monday to probation, fined $5,000 and ordered to complete 200 hours of community service. This morning we learned that S House freshmen, Leo Castillo, was hit by a car last night while crossing Olympic Blvd on his razor scooter.
