    Authorities were looking Tuesday for a man who slashed up to 80 tires on cars parked in Santa Monica's Ocean Park neighborhood. KTLA-TV reported that the man argued with an employee at ZJ Boarding House, a surf shop on Main Street, about 3 a.m. Sunday.     A transformer may be to blame for a late night apartment fire in Santa Monica, officials said Friday. The fire was reported around 10:45 p.m. Thursday at 850 2nd Street, the Santa Monica Fire Department said. When crews arrived on scene, they saw heavy fire and smoke coming from the third floor of the complex. Firefighters were quickly able to put out the flames in under an hour and limit the damage.     The fish kill in Marina Del Rey on May 18 was likely caused by the lack oxygen in the water and is nothing too unusual according to Wildlife officials. "A large anchovy school traveling outside the surf may have sought cover from a predator species.
