Coyote at SamoHi

On October 31, 2013, a coyote was reportedly spotted on the SamoHi campus, students reported. An announcement was made that students should proceed to class anyway. No one was injured by the wild canine, who was removed form campus around 10 AM by animal control officials.

Car Flips on Georgina

At the conclusion of a car chase, an automobile flipped at 4th and Georgina, KABC-TV reported late Wednesday night. The Nissan Sedan was videotaped on its roof in the middle of the intersection. It was not immediately clear whether the vehicle’s one occupant was injured in the melee.

Bristol Farms Celebrates Its SM Grand Opening with Mammoth Cheese Carving

Sarah “The Cheese Lady” Kaufman will bring her 17 years of cheese carving expertise to Bristol Farms Santa Monica on November 16 to celebrate the store’s grand opening. During a five-hour store visit, she will carve the Bristol Farms logo from a 150-pound Wisconsin Mammoth Apple Cheddar provided by Henning’s Cheese. There will also be Wisconsin Cheese samples available during the carving.

The event will take place on November 16, 2013, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.at Bristol Farms Santa Monica, 3105 Wilshire Blvd.
