Samohi's Varsity Ocean League Champions have won 2 rounds in the CIF Playoffs. Quarter finals are Saturday, May 24. 1-0 final score with great defensive plays by all. Whitney Jones pitched a shut out. Scoreless game until the top of the 5th inning when Senior Frankie Golick got a base hit and then was substituted by Rookie Nicole Farhadian who advanced to 3rd base after freshman, Kenedee Jamerson got a base hit. Sophmore, Ashley Rakuljic hit a sacrifice pop fly to deep left to score in the only run in the exciting game.

SAMO Vikings claim their second softball championship under Coach Debbie Skaggs & husband Dan Ramos with a 3 to 1 victory today over Ventura HS. Obviously, a perfect way to end the season! Fight on for a repeat in '15!
