Students Suspended for Drugs at Paul Revere Middle School

Students at the Brentwood school confirm an incident; Administration silent

Students say that 4 fellow students were suspended from Paul Revere Middle School in Brentwood Thursday, after marijuana was found in their lockers. Marijuana was also present on the Boys' bathroom floor, said our student sources.

Police were present on campus with dogs to locate drugs in lockers. We can confirm this fact from direct observation of the LAPD outside the school.

Students said that the 4 students were taken into custody, but the Los Angeles Police Department declined to comment on juvenile arrests.

At the school, classes continued as normal. Assistant Principal Blakely Coe refused to confirm or deny the arrests, saying only that a press release about the incident "would be forthcoming at an appropriate time."

The information in this article is from middle school students at the school. Paul Revere Charter Middle School opened in 1952, and enrolls 2300 students from 6th to 8th grade on an expansive campus adjacent to Sunset Blvd. It is a Los Angeles Unified School District school.
