Julian Assange Vows Huge Wikileaks Dump on Hillary, Just Before the Debates

No fan of Donald Trump, Assange really hates Hillary Clinton. Release may come on eve of 3d debate

He lives in exile in an embassy in London and considers himself a journalist, while the Obama administration and many Americans consider him to be a traitor.

Appearing on Megyn Kelly's Fox News program, WikiLeaks founder and editor-in-chief Julian Assange said on Wednesday that he planned to release "significant" information linked to the campaign of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Asked if the data could be a game-changer in the election, he said "I think it's significant. You know, it depends on how it catches fire in the public and in the media."

WikiLeaks released files in July of audio recordings taken from the emails of the Democratic National Committee. These were obtained by hacking its servers. That release, during the Democratic National Convention where Clinton was officially named the party's presidential nominee, was the second batch in a series that deeply rattled the Democratic party, and ultimately forced DNC chairwoman, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, to step down--which Assange seemed to brag about tonight.

Kelly speculated that the timing of the dump would be just before Clinton's third debate with Donald Trump. Everyone would be tuned in then and it would do the most damage to Clinton, she said, referring to the Obama administration's hunt for Assange. It was led by then Secretary of State Clinton.

On 4 July 2016, WikiLeaks tweeted a link to a trove of emails sent or received by then-US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton published on their website. The leak contained 1258 emails sent from Clinton's personal mail server which were selected in terms of their relevance to the Iraq War and were apparently timed to precede the release of the UK government's Iraq Inquiry report.

On 22 July 2016, WikiLeaks released approximately 20,000 emails and 8,000 files sent from or received by Democratic National Committee (DNC) personnel. Some of the emails contained personal information of donors, including home addresses and Social Security numbers. Other emails appeared to present ways to undercut Bernie Sanders and showed apparent favoritism towards Clinton.

WikiLeaks is an international non-profit group of journalists that publishes secret information, news leaks, and steals or appropriates classified media from anonymous sources.

Its website, initiated in 2006 in Iceland by the organization Sunshine Press, claimed a database of more than 1.2 million documents within a year of its launch.

Julian Assange, an Australian Internet activist, is generally described as its founder, editor-in-chief, and director. Kristinn Hrafnsson, Joseph Farrell, and Sarah Harrison are the only other publicly known and acknowledged associates of Julian Assange. Hrafnsson is also a member of Sunshine Press Productions along with Assange, Ingi Ragnar Ingason, and Gavin MacFadyen.

The group has released a number of significant documents that have become front-page news items. Early releases included documentation of equipment expenditures and holdings in the Afghanistan war and a report informing a corruption investigation

Linflow writes:

I just shake my head at the fools that believe Assange is manipulating our elections, what along with the Russians to seat Trump at the helm? Oh please. Assange is doing us all a favor and exposing the self proclaimed grown ups in our house, for who they really are, Wall Street criminals brazenly fixing a primary election in order to ensure that wall street continues to run our country like their very own giant corporation, with investors buying shares through political donations. Oh, Russia just so happens to be interested in Arizona and Illiinois they say, imagine that coincidence. Even if it was the Russians, would it truly matter who exposes her? Certainly Hillary will do the right thing and hand the crown over to Sanders if/when the time comes, right? No, we the fools will sit back while she takes her seat, as if nothing happened.

Linflow writes:

Uh, it is impossible for him to be a traitor, he is not American. He is Australian, hence he has no obligation or loyalty to the USA, nor should he.

Cdbtx writes:

The people that decry the release of documents are obviously discovering that their reality is being destroyed. All those beliefs that the govt, the politicians, the Clinton's actually care about americans ate being destroyed. The anger those goes out to assange for the truth verses those that are corrupt. Assange stayed every time that he despises obama and the Clinton's. . Because they have waged war on reporters. More reporters have been arrested and harassed by this administration than anytime in history. More foia requests have been denied by this administration than all previous administration's combined. Assange, rather than release bulk emails. .. parses them in order to expedite their distribution. Carry on Mr. Assange..

Persuader writes:

Don't kill the messenger focus on the message and the information in it.

lorena writes:

Assange cannot possibly be a traitor to the US. He's an Australian citizen, for crying out loud! For those who are crying about his leak timing, saying he's just as bad as the demoncrats, take a good, long, hard look at who's really the driving force behind the Clinton campaign! Just in case you don't know, it's none other than George Soros! You know, the guy behind the Open Borders Foundation? He's really the one behind her, do your own research and see if I'm wrong.

mayamouse writes:

Wikileaks and Assange have become just as bad as the people they leak data from. Because when you start playing at manipulating politics with timing the data leaks, then you are really just as bad liars/scumbags the data came from.

Texas writes:

I wish Julian would release this information before the 1st debate! I'm so tired of the liberal blowhards trying their best to steer this election in favor of this criminal. People really need to know all the facts about who they are so determined to put into office. And the US liberal media will not provide them with this information. It's shameful.

TheRainiOne writes:

The massive voter suppression and fraud by the DNC against Bernie Sanders has me seeing Wikileaks as a hero. Clinton did not win the nomination, her corporate owners stole the nomination. I would love to see her removed. Bernie did not concede. His words were I move that the rules be suspended and Hillary Clinton be selected as the nominee. He went all the way to the nominating process. If she is gone, he can take the nomination that he won. In the mean time, I am voting third party, and am completely done with the party of war profiteers, big oil, big pharma, and fraud. Go Julianne ! for the worlds sake, take her down!!

Phil writes:

If govt employees were honest then they would have nothing to hide The fact that institutions can not secure their servers is their problem Stop blaming the messenger and look in the mirror

Karl writes:

I personnally hate being manipulated. I do realize that we cannot totally escape manipulation, but this one takes the cake. Julian Assange, possibly in concert with some others, have been running a well oiled campaign of timely release of compromising info on Hillary Clinton and the DNC. The current tempo of info divulgation, does NOT indicate that this is being done for the sake of clarity, but rather that this is a blunt attempt at sinking Hillary's ship, and by the same token paving the way to the ascent of Trump. If this was being done for the sake of Truth, the whole thing would have been divulged at once a long time ago so as to give the public time to process this info. As it stands right now, the public will not have the time to process those new one-sided revelations.

Czone1 writes:

If Seymour Hersh was right 18 months ago we will learn that our presidential candidate supported arming militants now known as ISIS and maybe even provided sarin for a false flag operation to topple Assad. If that's the case then the American people will have to decide if electing war criminals is an advisable course. We only have th DNC and party loyalists to blame for our current plight.

Versla writes:

Thanks Assange. If Americans can only get the thrush by hackers let it be. I could care jaws of the source. What a bunch of garbage. Is Hillary paying for this!!??

Zuppadipesce writes:

Assang has not published any doctored documents since its inception and woul have no reason to do so. The dnc blames everyone else but themselves for thrwing a primary election to support the weakest candidate. Now they cry foul because the fowl will indeed come home to roost.

TiredOfIt writes:

Assange is getting really dull and tiring. He really is a sensationalistic self-promoter who is bitter and angry about the consequences he is facing for his actions in Europe. He is too much of a coward to face up to accusations in European courts and instead hides out in self-inflicted exile/assylum. We don't even really know if what he releases is real or doctored. He breaks into other people's and organizations computers to steal information and yet we assume what he releases has integrity? Dull, boring, sensationalistic. I am skeptical

Bizarro writes:

It's not possible for Julien Assange to be a traitor to the United States as he is Australian.

Think1 writes:

The email from Assange have ALL been edited. That's why it's taking so long to release them. The Dems should do a preemptive strike before the emails are released. Put out before the emails are released that ALL are tainted. If I was trying to smear someone and had sensitive digital documents of theirs I would edit the documents to make my campaign against them worse, so much worse. So think!

Thored writes:

Who proofs these articles? Julian Assange is not Edward Snowden. Edward Snowden is living in Moscow, Julian Assange is living in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London.

Ronbobius writes:

How interesting.... You really put the arse in Assange when you declare that him, and not Snowden, is holed up in Moscow. I stopped reading there.
