SNL Pokes Fun at Donald Trump's Promises, Kellyanne Conway's Regrets

"You're the reason I got elected," says Baldwin as Trump. "I think about that every day," says McKinnon wistfully, as Conway.

11/21/2016: Saturday Night Live began with a 6 minute segment with Alec Baldwin reprising his role as Donald Trump. The actor no doubt has steady work for the next 4 years. Kate McKinnon, who last week did a moving rendition of Hillary Clinton singing "Halleleujah" by the recently deceased Leonard Cohen, Now plays Conway. I suppose any role with a blond woman is hers.

"You're the reason I got elected," says Baldwin as Trump. "I think about that every day," says McKinnon wistfully, as Conway.

The summary of the skit is that, "when faced with making good on his campaign promises, president-elect Donald Trump (Alec Baldwin) starts to panic."

A West Virginia supporter drops in and reminds Trump he promised to build a 2000 mile wall on the Mexican border, and make Mexico pay for it. He also reminds Trump he promised to restore every job in coal country.

Mike Pence walks in at the end, and DT jokes "You're the reason I'll never be impeached."

"How was Hamilton?" asks Trump. "I got booed," says Pence. "I know," says Trump.

@realDonaldTrump has tweeted he thinks Saturday Nigh Live is "completely unfunny" and stale.
