This "Taste of Farmers Market" featured an extra special Partner, the "First-In Fire Foundation," a Los Angeles-based Organization dedicated to connecting citizens with Neighborhood fire stations. The event proudly saluted the

brave firefighters from Station 61 and 68, local LAFD fire houses.

Firefighters are not only renowned for their courage and dedication, they're also famous for their world-class cooking.

Therefore, this year they were invited them to bring along several of their favorite "Firehouse Chili" recipes (meat & veggie versions)

along with a shiny red firetruck for family photo opportunities.

The First-In Fire Foundation sponsored a community table with craft activities for kids and emergency preparedness information.

Support from this event will help the local fire stations

with much-needed equipment, repairs and upkeep. Guests were encouraged to become an active friend and supporter by

visiting the First-In Fire Foundation community table on the Plaza, and giving the firefighters their heartfelt thanks.

The Taste of Farmers Market this year was a wonderful gathering of people over great food and wine, brining the community together and raising awareness and resources for a wonderful local cause, the lapd fire fighters. It was enjoyed by all and left a great thirst in the attendees for next year's event.
