Synagogue for Actors, Performers, Artists and Others celebrates Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement

Temple of The Arts, 8440 Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills was host to prayers, holiness and many celebrities on Tuesday 8 and Wednesday October 9, 2019

Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) is the holiest day of the year on the Jewish calendar. It is day of prayer, remembering loved ones, and fasting for the Jewish people worldwide.

The Eve of Yom Kippur Service (Kol Nidre) on Tuesday October 8 and continued through Wednesday October 9, 2019 was highlighted by Rabbi David Barons special guests. Rabbi David Baron is the founder of the Beverly Hills Temple of the Arts, the largest arts and entertainment synagogue in the United States, which owns the Saban Theatre.

Some of Rabbi David Baron's special guest were:

Jonathan Morales, the brave hero of the Poway Chabad Synagogue shooting on April 27, 2019.

Suzanne M Reyto, Holocaust Survivor and Chairman of the Violins of Hope Los Angeles recovered from the Holocaust

Elan Carr, United States Special Envoy for Monitoring and Combatting anti-Semitism

Vijay Gutpa, played one of the Violins of Hope, honoring the upcoming 75th Anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz- Birkeanu and other Holocaust concentration camps

Suzanne M Reyto

Lana Melman, CEO of Liberate ART Inc. a leader in fighting the boycott and prejudice against Israel and Israeli artists.

Michael Fitzpatrick, renowned Cellist, whose grandfather, Bronislaw Huberman was the founder of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra in 1936

A few of the well-known performers and readers for the High Holiday Service were Mary Hart (Entertainment Tonight Personality), Leonard Maltin (American Film Critic & Historian) Stephan Macht (Actor/Suits/ The Monster Squad) Jim Moret( Inside Edition) Ashley Bell ( Actress/ The Last Exorcism) and many others.

This Yom Kippur Service was very inspiring and enlightening with the beautiful performance of talented singers, musicians and inspirational speakers!
