Annual Library Book Sale Set for Saturday, November 9th 2019

A free screening of "A Military Family Documentary - While Time Stands Still" will be presented by the Santa Monica Bay Woman's Club, this Saturday Nov. 9 in Santa Monica. The documentary follows three military wives before, during and after their husbands' combat deployment. Along the way you meet amazing families whose daily bravery will inspire you. The event is free and open to the public.

The screening is at 10 a.m. and the doors open at 9:30 a.m. It will be followed by a panel discussion. `Resource tables from Bob Hope USO - LAX, Wounded Warriors Family Support Programs and UCLA Veteran Family Wellness Program will also be on hand.

The Friends of the Santa Monica Public Library Bookstore are holding their annual sale on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 11-2 pm in the Bookstore at the Main Library at 601 Santa Monica Blvd.

What will be offered? Art books, music, history, biography, new fiction, cookbooks, graphic novels, signed books and antiquarian books.

Just in – signed books of popular music and musicals donated by the family of a music publisher.

If you are driving, please enter the parking lot on 7 th between Arizona and Santa Monica Boulevard.
