Peggy Ann Martin McIntyre of Santa Monica died Wednesday Nov 20, 2019 at NVM Comfort Homes in Granada Hills. She was the wife of the late Carl McIntyre.

She was born in Bell, CA on December 28, 1936. The daughter of the late Albert and Louise (Moon) Martin of Oxnard, CA. A graduate of santa monica high school, Peggy Ann resided in Santa Monica for the greater part of her adult life.

Peggy worked for Packard Bell, RCA, Hughes Aircraft, Los Angeles Unified School District and the Santa Monica Police Dept. as a crossing guard.

She is survived by three children, James Connelly of Santa Monica, Sherry McIntyre of Torrance, and Cindy Lagrassa of Los Angeles; two sisters, Joann Still of Colorado Springs, CO and Patricia Wade of Port Hueneme CA; and fourteen grandchildren:

Armando Barba of Hawthorne, Maricella Meza of Hawthorne, Cynthia Meza of Hawthorne, Valerie Meza of Hawthorne, Irene Meza of Los Angeles, Alex LaGrassa of Santa Monica, Angelina Lopez of Los Angeles, Rachel Reimers of Venice, James I. Connely of West Hills, George Connelly of Chicago, IL; Patrick J> Connelly of Salida, CO, and several nieces and nephews.


Funeral viewing will be Sunday November 24, 3 pm - 3:30 and Tuesday, November 26, 11:00 am -11:30 at Accu-Care Funerals, 1410 Acacia Ave, Fullerton CA 92831. A memorial service will be held on a date to be announced.

Among other occupations, Peggy Ann was a crossing guard for the Santa Monica school district
