Paris Hilton Parties with Invited Wedding Guests At the Carousel on the Santa Monica Pier

Guests were expected to test Covid Negative and present a card showing they had been innoculated.

Paris Hilton celebrated her wedding with a few lucky guests on the Santa Monica Pier Friday night, 11/12/21.

I asked the young handsome actor type guy what folks were waiting for at the parking lot across the street from the Lutheran Church. "We're waiting for shuttle vans to take us to a private wedding event on the Pier," he said.

It's about half a mile from the Santa Monica Pier. But it turns out, he was telling the truth, and the private part was for socialite Paris Hilton, and her groom, Carter Reum.

From People.com: "Paris Hilton took her wedding festivities to a whole new level with a carnival afterparty.

The reality star, 40, and her new husband, Carter Reum, celebrated getting hitched with a themed event at the Santa Monica Pier on Friday.

Hilton and Reum, 40, wed in Los Angeles on Thursday and carried their celebration over into the next day with a couple's carnival. The colorful bash featured carnival treats like lemonade, funnel cakes and hot dogs, plus Hilton-themed games, a ferris wheel, a DJ, and performers, plus more classic attractions, all of which Hilton featured on her Instagram Story."

In line with LA County's strict rules, Guests were expected to test Covid Negative and present a card showing they had been vaccinated. The roller coaster on Pacific Park on the Santa Monica pier, did have a "Paris World" sign on it, a big hint at the big celebrity who was getting married.

A polarizing and often derided celebrity, says Wikipedia; Hilton is credited with influencing the revival of the famous for being famous phenomenon throughout the 2000s, and was, for a number of years, one of the world's most ubiquitous public figures. She appeared in the 2007 Guinness World Records as the Most Overrated Celebrity, while Forbes ranked her as the Most Overexposed Celebrity in 2006 and 2008. Critics indeed suggest that she exemplifies the celebutante—a household name not through talent or work, but through inherited wealth and lavish lifestyle. Hilton has parlayed her media fame into an eponymous brand, which includes 19 product lines, 45 boutiques worldwide, and an urban condominium development in Manila, Philippines. Her perfume line alone has brought in over US$2.5 billion in revenue to date. Variety named her its "Billion Dollar Entrepreneur" in 2011.
