Culver Film Festival Releases Plans

The long awaited date and venue announcement for the inaugural Culver City Film Festival have been released.

This release couldn’t come soon enough for the large number of film and cinema buffs who have been following this festival as it has progressed. “To be a part of the inaugural film festival is history in the making,” says Jon Gursha Culver City Film Festival Director.

The Culver City Film Festival will be held on the 6th of December at the Mayme A. Clayton Library & Museum in Culver City. With the event being so large, additional venues including Gravlax, The Detour, and Joxer Daly’s will also host sessions and events of the film festival.

“We are excited to start and bring a film festival to such a film historic, rich, and exciting area as Culver City,” adds Culver City Film Festival Program Director Peter Greene.

The event includes well-known speakers to included Jason Brubaker from filmmakingstuff.com, and many others from the independent film community.

Submissions for films are still open, so it’s not too late to list your independent film with the festival. To submit a film, simply follow the instructions CulverCityFilmFestival.com

The festival is seen as breath of fresh air for many independent filmmakers. Small filmmakers see it as a dream come true to be able to screen their film in unarguably the film capital of the world, Culver City.
