Power Out Between 6th and 7th, Wilshire Boulevard to Montana Avenue

Three Santa Monica city blocks located between Wilshire Boulevard in Montana Avenue lost power at 8:30 Wednesday morning, when a transformer blew. The outage is unrelated to the trenching incident at Lincoln middle school on Monday morning which caused several other blocks to lose power. The supervisor on the job, Paul, reports that power will be restored at 10 PM Wednesday night.
