Do You Hate the Dentist? How I Learned to Love the Dentist, Dr. Jason D. Mirabile
If you or a loved one has been searching high and low for a great dentist
January 9, 2018
Do you hate the Dentist? Most people hate going, and it makes good sense. Having someone poke and prod into one of your most sensitive and vulnerable orifices is quite intimidating. One may wonder why so many people let their teeth go, until the fears are fully comprehended. Not every dentist has the best chairside manner. Not every dentist has a compassion and understanding for what their patients are feeling. Not every dentist has the skill and expertise to competently treat you quickly and efficiently.
Get ready to love the dentist! I found a local gem, literally in the heart of Santa Monica. You will have so many reasons to love Dr. Jason Mirabile. His office is clean, state-of-the-art and very comfortable. His staff is warm, friendly and relaxed. That puts you at ease right from the start. They all speak Spanish-which really helps expedite effective and stress-free communication. They accept all PPO insurances and even take Medi-Cal.
They offer financing options, like Care Credit and Lending Club so you can get the care you need without having to wait. His sidekick Edwin, and awesome hygienist, has such a chill vibe, I was instantly relaxed in his hands. But that's not even what won me over. As a wellness devotee, I asked him to kindly refrain from using fluoride.
He responded by telling me they don't use fluoride. What? Finally, a dentist who gets it! I very recently broke a crown and had to have it replaced. After being told the temporary should take about an hour, he injected anesthesia, which was remarkably painless. This seasoned USC grad seemingly snapped his fingers and I was honestly out of there in 30 minutes! I was compelled to write a glowing review after my first visit, but this time, I just have to share with our entire community.
If you or a loved one has been searching high and low for a good dentist-why not try a great dentist? As they say at Sugarfish: "Trust me." Your search is over.
Dr. Mirabile offers a wide range of services including bonding, whitening, veneers, crowns, surgery (extractions and wisdom teeth), pediatric (children's), endodontics (root canals), prosthodontics (partial and complete dentures), periodontics (implants and deep cleanings), and orthodontics (traditional and invisalign methods of teeth straightening). They highly recommend and work with MTM Clear Aligner.
But wait! It gets better. If all that weren't enough, they even offer 24/7 Emergency services.
Upon graduating from the USC School of Dentistry in 2001, Dr. Jason D. Mirabile began his career working in several high-volume patient clinics, where he treated as many as 60 patients per day.
The time spent working under those high-demand circumstances, provided him with the unique opportunity to acquire a level of experience, wisdom, and efficiency that is unparalleled. In 2013, Dr. Mirabile opened his practice, where he has continued to live up to his reputation of superior quality dentistry, competitive pricing, and personalized patient care. Dr. Mirabile begins every case with a unique diagnosis and treatment plan, with an emphasis on clear communication, while addressing common dental anxiety. As an artist and a perfectionist, he works with each patient to determine both long-term and short-term goals, facilitating patient satisfaction and successful completion of the shared vision.
Truly one of my favorite things about this doctor is his sense of humor. He literally named his office "I Hate The Dentist." Why? Because he gets it.
