Jay Leno and Dr. Miriam Adelson Honors the 2nd Annual Los Angeles Gala for American Friends of United Hatzalah

Following the speakers and dinner, there was an after party with the spectacular musical performance by Dudu Aharon Israeli Singer and band.

On Thursday February 27, 2020 Jay Leno (former host of The Tonight Show) and Dr. Miriam Adelson (keynote speaker) honored the Friends of United Hatzalah 2nd Annual Los Angeles Gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, 9876 Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills.

United Hatzalah is the largest independent, non-profit fully volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization that dispenses the fastest and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel with the help of their amazing iconic ambucycles. The average response time is less than 3 minutes across the country and 90 seconds in metropolitan areas. There are over 6,000 volunteers around the country that help provide service to the country 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Over 1000 people attended this lavish event while Jay Leno personally contributed $150,000 as well as entertained the audience with a speech filled with many of his funny Jewish Jokes.

I chatted briefly with Jay Leno, who is a tremendous supporter of many Jewish and Israeli charities about his marvelous car collection. Maybe next time Jay Leno will also donate one of his cars

Michael Milken (Milken Institute) was a surprise guest speaker and philanthropic contributor to this gala.

It was impressive to see young people under 25 years old stand up and contribute thousands of dollars. Over 6 million dollars were raised for the United Hatzalah

Dr. Miriam & Sheldon G. Adelson received the Lifetime Achievement Award and was the keynote speaker.

Dina Aspen received the Pioneer Award for her efforts in establishing new initiatives and Nicolai Marciano received the Young Leadership Award

Eli Beer the President and Founder of the United Hatzalah of Israel announced his thankfulness for the generous support from the Los Angeles community

Following the speakers and dinner, there was an after party with the spectacular musical performance by Dudu Aharon Israeli Singer and band.
