The Donut Life Museum Transforms into a Place Where You Can Escape

The Donut Life Museum Offers Escape Rooms, Private Parties, and More

The Donut Life Museum, founded by Kathy Ly and co-founders Alix Luu and Brian Ross, was created to "Make Life Sweet Again" and is the place where anyone can connect, be happy and make memories. Its mission is to create an interactive and memorable experience that alludes to major experiences of human life told through the creative world of donuts.

Donut Life Museum announced that it will be transitioning from a pop-up museum into a creative space that encourages people to use their imagination and think outside the box. Located inside the Westminster Mall in Orange County, Donut Life Museum continues to invite visitors to enter a world filled with smiles, inspiration, one-of-a-kind donut installations, multi-sensory immersive rooms, and a whole lot of selfie moments that you DONUT want to miss! Tickets can be purchased now on Donut Life Museum's official website.

Moving forward, Donut Life Museum will transform into a creative space where escape room enthusiasts can solve puzzles, TikTok and YouTube content creators can shoot content, and DIY tribes can come together for a safe and unforgettable experience. The changes were influenced by the pandemic outbreak crisis. Being closed to the public twice to adhere to social distancing guidelines, allowed founder Kathy Ly and co-founders Alix Luu and Brian Ross' to think of new ways to still share their passion for donuts and desire to create meaningful experiences.

"After many obstacles, it felt surreal to finally open the Donut Life Museum earlier this year and then the pandemic hit," said founder Kathy Ly. "However, after praying and receiving positive feedback from our visitors, we knew we wanted to still safely share sweet experiences with everyone who have shared in our passion to 'Make Life Sweet Again.' We have remained optimistic through this time and are grateful to be able to offer new options to our customers."

Taking up a massive 7,000 square feet with seven rooms, Donut Life Museum has now partnered with No.1 Escapes in Irvine to help turn the museum into an escape room game where you can glaze your way through and solve puzzles to unlock something sweet. Additionally, Donut Life has partnered with Painting & Vino for paint nights and Bonkerz 4 Balloons for balloon twisting and decór classes. Individuals can also book the space for private events including birthday parties, bachelorette, photoshoots, and many other celebrations.

We are focused on providing an experience that is safe and sweet for everyone. (Together we will Make Life Sweet Again but we will do it safely) In the continued need to address COVID-19, we have proactively implemented additions to our safety guidelines, effective immediately and until further notice, which are posted on-site and available on our website. This includes our staff UV lighting to sanitizing surfaces in between groups, requiring face masks and temperature check prior to entry, one-way entry, private group bookings only for strangers, and removal of shoes prior to entering the museum.

Committed to giving back to the community, Donut Life Museum also includes illustrations from students at Northwood High School that are featured throughout the space. Donut Life Museum will also sell a special BLKCity Coffee blend sold and will also offer mini donut boxes from their sponsors at Krispy Kreme for guests to take home every week.
