LA Art Show 2021 Opening Night Premiere Party

To Benefit St Jude Children's Research Hospital Hosted by International Superstar Rita Ora

Thursday Night, July 29, 2021 -- The LA Art show has been a staunch supporter of St Jude Children's Research Hospital, a leading hospital devoted to medical research and the treatment of childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. This year, the LA Art show donated 15% of all ticket proceeds to St Jude Children's Research Hospitals' lifesaving dedication and mission.

Rita Ora, popular British singer, song writer and actress ( with four #1 UK singles), was a charming speaker and happy Host to LA Art Show Opening Night Premiere Party at the Los Angeles Convention Center, 1201 South Figueroa Street, South Hall, Los Angeles, 90015. The VIP Red Carpet Special Collectors Preview was 6pm -9 pm on Thursday July 29, 2021.

Red Carpet included Mayor Eric Garcetti, who gave a brief congratulatory speech celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Los Angeles Convention Center and 26th LA Art Show anniversary

Arnold Schwarzenegger made a surprise visitation to a few of the galleries at the show.

Gourmet food, wine and sparkling beverages was graciously offered to all opening night attendees.

The LA Art show featured over 70 art galleries in over 200, 000 square feet ran from July 29 to August 1, 2021. This socially distanced event, requiring all guests to wear masks, had half the attendance, but double the sales as numerous art dealers, curators, collectors and art lovers flocked to the Los Angeles Convention Center

The opening night patrons were able to explore the new DIVERSEartLA section, which spotlights on the presence, contributions, research and documentation of women and non-binary artists at the vanguard of work at the interchange of art, science, and technology, represented by guest museums and institutions. This programing, chosen by Marisa Caichiolo, showcased the stunning Marcos Lutyens' River Rose Memorial community art collaboration that pays tribute to the lost lives of the COVID pandemic in the United States. Tiffany Trenda brought live performance to this event

The most exciting and breathtaking NFT introduction came from the Vellum LA, the first physical gallery for NFT-backed digital art in Los Angeles and Super-Rare, the leading and most trusted NFT market place for digital art. The strictly NFT gallery focused on the talented female artists in their digitals space art show Sea of Change.

The luminescent colors of the NFT art exhibit is stunning, provocative and unique

We should all thank Kassandra Voyagis, the new director for the concept of the LA Art Show summer Edition. Most of us, including myself, experienced the LA Art Show withdrawal due the COVID pandemic.

The LA Art Show returns to the Los Angeles Convention Center January 19-23, 2022.
