Road Rage or Two Cars Chasing Each Other Ends in Car to Car Shooting at Kansas and Stewart Street in Santa Monica

From Police Lt. Rudy Flores: "This is preliminary: Officers are working the scene of a shooting that started out as either a road rage or 2 cars involved in a chase. At some point they were involved in a traffic collision in the area of Pico and Yorkshire. The vehicle eventually ended up in the East Alley of the 2700 blk of Stewart where a suspect in one vehicle fired a handgun at the driver and his passenger of the second vehicle. One of the drivers appears to have an injury to his leg which was caused during the crash. No arrests have been made at this time."

Previously we posted: A car chase ended in Santa Monica at Kansas and Stewart Street in an alleyway. This on Monday afternoon (Labor Day, Sept. 5) around 130 pm, local residents said. Two shots were fired and a suspect was injured. This is breaking news more details to follow.
