Widespread Power Outage in Santa Monica 90403 Monday Night.

August 19, 2022

Monday night at about 10 PM the power went out in a wide area of Santa Monica bounded by 10th St. on the west. The power was out at least as far north as Montana Avenue, and as far east as 14th St.

Comment from a reader: "The power was out as far as 18th and Pico. Power also went out around the 1600 block of Ocean Ave. So I would say the affected areas was Appian Way on the west and at least 18th street to the east. 7-11 on Lincoln and Pico was shutdown as of 10:25pm. 14th Street? I can see the whole area north of Pico from my apartment. City lights were on, but residential lights were off? Please update. I don't want you guys to be considered fake or inaccurate news."
