Culver City Neighborhood Holds Carwash to Help Pay Funeral Expenses after Death of Byron Simmons in a Motorcycle Accident

"He's survived by his wife Jennifer and his kids Dominic and Jenna. He was a loving, genuine and caring person."

9.11.22: A Culver City neighborhood came out to wash cars to honor the memory of Byron Simmons, who died in a motorcycle crash last Sunday. He was 42. The carwash is a fundraiser for his family, to cover funeral costs and other expenses.

The carwash is on the corner of Sawtelle and Hayter Avenue. This is about 3 blocks west of the intersection of Sepulveda and Sawtelle.

Their go fund me page reads as follows: We are fundraising to help the Simmons Family with funeral costs. This past Sunday the family was notified that on his way home to his family,

Bryon was in a motorcycle accident that he didn't survive. He's survived by his wife Jennifer and his kids Dominic and Jenna. He was a loving, genuine and caring person. Always was willing to help anyone in any situation. We want to give Byron the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Byron's funeral. Anything is appreciated and welcomed. Thank you.
