Video Shows Antifa Clash with Pro Life Protesters, Santa Monica Police Near the Pier Saturday.

"We're here to be a voice for the unborn! Babies lives matter!" chanted one of the 8 or 10 pro life protestors.

News2Share covered a confrontation Saturday May 13th, between protesters identified as "Antifa," others identified as pro-life, and members of the Santa Monica Police Dept. Some of the SMPD officers were mounted on horses. The confrontation took place just East of the 100 year old Santa Monica Pier, in Palisades Park.

"#Antifa members violently clashed with law enforcement as they gathered to try to attack participants of a "Baby Lives Matter" rally in Santa Monica, Calif. on May 13." tweeted @mrandyngo, who apparently shot the video.

One female protestor is heard calling the police "pigs!" and saying that she just had surgery. Police officers are heard shouting "Hold the Line!" and "You can't be here like that."

"When abortion rights are under attack, what do we do? Stand up and fight back!" chanted the protestors, in the two minute video posted to Twitter by independent journalist Ford Fischer and retweeted by Ngo.

"We're here to be a voice for the unborn! Babies lives matter!" chanted one of the 8 or 10 pro life protestors. There were 10 or 12 anarchist protestors (one wearing a jacket that said "Sons of Anarchy.") and perhaps 20 or so SMPD officers.

"Horses always seem vulnerable to bad intent in a crowd situation. If somebody hurt my horse....oh man.... I give these police props for maintaining order with a group egging them on. Gotta be hard to tune it out and still maintain awareness." tweeted Exflyr.

"I'm surprised police in California use that much force," tweeted another.
