Four Pepperdine Sorority Sisters Killed in Traffic Collision on PCH in Malibu Tuesday Night

The driver's sedan collided with three parked vehicles. Those vehicles hit four women who were standing on the side of the road

Four young women studying at Pepperdine's Seaver college were killed in a collision on PCH Tuesday night. The driver was arrested for vehicular manslaughter following the collision.

Pepperdine University identified the students killed in the accident, all seniors at the university's Seaver College of Liberal Arts. Their names are as follows: Niamh Rolston, Peyton Stewart, Asha Weir, Deslyn Williams. The four were sorority sisters and three of them were roommates.

Capt. Jennifer Seetoo of the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station described the accident at a press conference. She said that Fraser Michael Bohm, 22, was driving West on PCH when he lost control of his sedan. He swerved toward the north side of PCH where a number of young women were talking by parked vehicles.

Bohm's sedan then collided with three parked vehicles. Those vehicles hit four women who were standing on the side of the road. They died from traumatic injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene, Seetoo said.

Bohm was arrested on a charge of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence. He has since been released. The driver suffered minor injuries, deputies said.

The accident occurred in the 21600 block of PCH, near its intersection with Carbon Canyon Blvd.
