The 24th Annual Beverly Hills International Film Festival 2024 honors Hollywood's Esteemed and New Stars

The 24th Annual Beverly Hills International Film Festival ran May 1-5, 2024 at the TLC Chinese-6 Theatres, 6801 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood. There was a dazzling post party opening night at the Hollywood Rosevelt Hotel, Tropicana Pool/ Bar, 7000 Hollywood Blvd, .Hollywood.

I was very impressed and amused with one of opening nights films 'My Divorce Party, directed by Heidi Weitzer. Five women, who have been best friends for a long time, travel to a remote desert location to celebrate a divorce party. The cast including Rumer Willis, Michelle Meredith, kimia Behpoornia, and Sara Hollis had incredible chemistry and connection.

Xan, played by Desiree Staples, is having a rough time going through her crumbling marriage and divorce. She recklessly encourages her girlfriends to help spend all her hard earned money over the weekend to assure that her soon to be ex-husband does not get a penny.

These woman carelessly throw thousands of dollars at muscular male strippers, purchase an overpriced statue at a convenience store, and thousands of dollars on extravagant alcohol.

There were over 250 films featured in this 5 day festival, with film makers and stars walking the red carpet before screening their new film projects before a live audience. There were exciting panel discussions, and networking events. There were fun filled post parties every night with writers, producers, director, actors and all film lovers and attendees of this festival.

The closing awards Gala was on May 5, 2024 at the Iconic Rosevelt Hotel, Hollywood,, honoring the talented film makers and films showcased through this 5 day festival.
