Are Your Candles Harming You? How Kacee Faith Built a Pure Brand from the Ground Up

When Kacee Faith began making candles, she had no idea it would turn into a mission

=Are you upping your wellness game?  Becoming more aware of toxic ingredients in your products?  From the foods we eat, the air we breathe and the products we put on our bodies - it's easy to forget we absorb all of it.  Did you know that Europe bans about 1300 ingredients that America does not?

Longevity Liz Angeles of Just What You Knead is very impressed with what this conscious wellness goddess discovered, created, and is now promoting.  Take a look at our wellness pick of the week.

When Kacee Faith began making candles, she had no idea it would turn into a mission. While testing a fragrance oil in the early days, she was shocked to discover it contained chemicals so harsh it could burn through containers and wasn't safe for skin. That moment changed everything. She decided that if it wasn't pure enough to touch, it wasn't pure enough to burn.

Over the next three years, Kacee worked tirelessly to create a candle that was both safe and luxurious-reformulating, testing, and starting over until she found a way to make each ingredient completely clean. The hardest part was the aroma. Most candles rely on synthetic fragrance oils, but Kacee was determined to use only pure essential oils and edible-grade botanicals. After countless trials, she finally achieved a scent that was not only natural and long-lasting but also completely safe to breathe.

The result became the foundation of her Los Angeles–based company, Beauty Is. Each candle is poured using a custom honey-coco wax blend made from coconut, soy, and California-sourced beeswax, with natural cotton wicks and essential oils. Unlike most candles, these actually purify the air instead of polluting it. Now living in Los Angeles, Kacee is scaling her company and building partnerships with local businesses, spas, and boutiques. Her vision is simple: teach the world that beauty is purity.
