Rear End Collision on Main Street in Santa Monica Sends Elderly Couple to Hospital, 4 Vehicles Damaged

Santa Monica - A chain-reaction crash involving a black SUV and three parked cars disrupted Main Street Monday around 11 AM, leaving an elderly couple hospitalized.

According to witnesses, the black SUV rear-ended a gray parked SUV with enough force to push it forward into two additional parked vehicles ahead of it. The impact caused visible damage to all four cars.

Emergency responders, including Santa Monica Fire Department personnel, arrived quickly and transported the elderly occupants of the black SUV to a local hospital for evaluation. The extent of their injuries remains unknown at this time. No other injuries were immediately reported.
