One Man Fatally Shot in Parking Lot North of the Santa Monica Pier

Santa Monica, CA – Santa Monica police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in a parking lot adjacent to the Santa Monica Pier on the night of July 19 or early morning of July 20, 2026.

According to initial local reports, officers responded to the scene where a man was found suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the location.
