MARINA DEL REY — A pedestrian was killed Tuesday night on Lincoln Boulevard at the eastbound 90 (Marina) Freeway entrance, the Los Angeles Police Department said. The crash, first reported on the Citizen App, was later confirmed through City News Service reporting published by Westside Current.
Police said the collision happened about 9:58 p.m. Tuesday. A vehicle traveling south on Lincoln Boulevard struck the pedestrian, who was walking in traffic lane 3. The impact threw the person southwest into the roadway. Los Angeles Fire Department personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene from blunt-force trauma.

The crash occurred near where the 90 Freeway meets Lincoln Boulevard in the Maxella Avenue area, a high-traffic stretch that serves Marina del Rey, Venice, and Santa Monica.
