hilarious and poignant one person but 18 character show

After well over two years in development and one totally discarded script award winning actress and writer Kate Huffman is ready to launch her hilarious and poignant one person but 18 character show "I'm Too Fat For This Show" in the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival. The show is very personal and yet relates to a great many people as it looks at obsessive compulsive disorder and eating disorder with the perfect balance of truth, wit and humor.

Kate is of the opinion that our society places far too much emphasis on the need for women to have the perfect body at all costs including the potential loss of genuinely good health. Don't think so? Just look at the cover of every glam magazine the next time you check out of your favorite super market. As a consequence of our cultural bias far too many women constantly suffer from feelings of inadequacy for which the very best medicine may well be laughter.

Now you can enjoy "I'm Too Fat For This Show" during its limited engagement at the Lounge Theatre, 6201 Santa Monica Boulevard, Los Angeles, California. Show dates and times are:

June 2nd – Friday 8:00 P.M.

June 10th – Saturday 8:00 P.M.

June 18th – Sunday 6:00 P.M.

June 19th – Monday 8:00 P.M.

June 25th – Sunday 4:00 P.M.

Tickets are available at: hollywoodfringe.org/projects/4586

Kate Huffman

But even as the show readies for launch Kate Huffman is working on both a national tour with the show and on new television series based on the premise of her new show. These are clearly exciting times for Kate and you can be a part of the fun by watching the show while in town and then keep coming back to this publication because I assure you I will be following her progress as she takes her message across the country and then on to television for an even larger audience. Over the many years of my work as a columnist and as a public relations consultant I have met thousands of people with huge dreams about success in show business. Kate Huffman is one of the very few who clearly possesses the right stuff for making her dream a reality by delivering compelling entertainment and so to Kate I say simply: "Break a leg."
