    Update, 3 pm: After investigating multiple reports of a methane or other oder in the 500 block of Venice Blvd, the Los Angeles Fire Department and the Southern California Gas Company, determined the source of the leak to be natural. The investigation began at 10 am approximately, when mutliple reports of people smelling gas came in. But it was determined to be natural, perhaps methane from the Pacific Ocean.
