Police Looking At Prince's Doctor -- very closely

Saw Dr Schulenberg the day before he died

The LA Times reports that, according to Court records, Prince saw a Minneapolis doctor the day before he died. In fact, the Doctor came to Paisley Park the morning Prince died to give the singer his test results.

Family Practitioner Michael Todd Schulenberg saw Prince on April 7 and April 21. According to a search warrant, Prince Rogers Nelson was supposed to fill a prescription at Walgreens, though it remains unclear whether he had a chance to do so before he died.

A Search Warrant for Prince's medical records was filed April 27th and executed on May 5. The warrant was executed at the North Memorial Medical Center, which employed Dr. Schulenberg.

The warrant does not specify whether the search was for prescription pain medications, which are the leading theory as to the cause of death. Prince died six days after his plane made an emergency landing in Moline, Ill, where he was reportedly treated with a "safe shot", i.e. a remedy against opiod pain medications.

Prince was treated for dehydration in 2013, 2014 and 2015, says the LA Times.

Carver County Chief Deputy Jason Kamerud reminded reporters that Police had said they would be examining Prince's medical records to see if a crime had been committed.

Michael Jackson died from an overdose of Propofil, a painkiller prescribed to him by a private doctor who's one patient was the singer. Jackson's doctor was prosecuted --and convicted-- of manslaughter.
