The moon rolled across a Chinese City Thursday. No, we're not making this up, and you're not dreaming

A huge moon balloon rolled through a city-scape following typhoon Meranti in Fuzhou, China. It rolled across a construction site and down major boulevards. Surprised residents used the Chinese phrase 'furious moon' to describe it (or perhaps that's a phrase from a David Bowie song?) For Chinese, the incident coincided with China's middle-autumn festival, where moongazing is part of the traditional rituals.

The Moon is Earth's only permanent natural satellite, as well as the only celestial body besides Earth to have been visited by humans. It is the fifth largest natural satellite in the Solar System, and the largest among planetary satellites relative to the size of the planet that it orbits (its primary).
