BOSTON, MA (9/22/17) – giggle, inc. – a retailer offering the best in high-end baby products will be closing its store locations within the next several weeks. The company has 4 locations, one of which is at 2212 Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica.

The closing is a symptom not only of US retail moving online, but also of high rents in Santa Monica, and other high end retail locations. It is a curious paradigm that just as retail has moved increasingly online, rents in Santa Monica have risen.

Store closing sales begin Saturday, September 23, at all remaining giggle store locations - offering shoppers deep discounts on best in class baby and juvenile products. The sale is being conducted by Boston-based Gordon Brothers, on behalf of the assignee appointed to liquidate the company's assets. All inventory will be discounted up to 50% off, including: gear, bedding, nursery furniture and decor, apparel, and accessories.
