Car Crash at 18th and Wilshire Blvd Seriously Injures Driver

Wilshire Blvd closed in both directions for a two vehicle collision at 17th St. @SantaMonicaPD advised one person transported to the hospital in very serious condition.
According to neighbors a "big accident" on Wilshire Blvd between 17th and 18th street occurred late Wednesday afternoon. The Santa Monica Police Dept closed Wilshire Blvd between 16th and 18th into the evening hours. According to Blue Bus drivers, there were reportedly fatalities.
@SantaMonicaPD advised one person transported to the hospital in very serious condition. Wilshire Blvd was reopened at 9 pm.
