Metrolink is offering people of both genders, $10 tickets to downtown Los Angeles on Saturday January 18th. The regional train service provider has struggled for passengers in a region where cars are king, but freeways are generally overcrowded.
Their press release reads as follows
Whether you are attending the Women's March or one of the many other events Downtown, skip traffic and parking and save money while reducing congestion and emissions in the region by leaving your car at home and taking Metrolink instead.
Metrolink is adding service to its weekend train schedule on Saturday, January 18, in anticipation of the Women's March, which has brought over half a million people to Downtown Los Angeles in past years. All regularly-scheduled Metrolink trains will be operating, in addition to special roundtrips on the Antelope Valley, San Bernardino and Ventura County lines.
Metrolink riders can transfer at Union Station to the Metro Red or Purple Line and exit at the Pershing Square Station. The Women's March LA event begins at 10 a.m.
