Report: #CoronaVirus Deaths are Far Worse than China Admits, in Wuhan and Elsewhere

Real death toll said to be near 25,000, as pandemic escapes control of panicking officials

Those of us who follow the CoronaVirus statistics coming out of Mainland China, have always suspected the Chinese are lying about their 650 death toll, in less than 30,000 cases. After all, why bother to quarantine Wuhan, a Los Angeles sized city, unless it were absolutely necessary. And why build 2 hospitals in ten days, unless you think they're going to soon be filled with dying patients.

In an article entitled "Tencent may have accidentally leaked real data on Wuhan virus deaths," the Taiwan news reports that a Chinese company, Tencent, briefly listed 154,023 infections and 24,589 deaths from Wuhan coronavirus on their website.

As many experts question the veracity of China's statistics for the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak, Tencent over the weekend seems to have inadvertently released what is potentially the actual number of infections and deaths, which were astronomically higher than official figures.

On late Saturday evening (Feb. 1), Tencent, on its webpage titled "Epidemic Situation Tracker," showed confirmed cases of novel coronavirus (2019nCoV) in China as standing at 154,023, 10 times the official figure at the time. It listed the number of suspected cases as 79,808, four times the official figure.

The number of cured cases was only 269, well below the official number that day of 300. Most ominously, the death toll listed was 24,589, vastly higher than the 300 officially listed that day.

Moments later, Tencent updated the numbers to reflect the government's "official" numbers that day. Netizens noticed that Tencent has on at least three occasions posted extremely high numbers, only to quickly lower them to government-approved statistics. https://www.taiwannews.com.tw/en/news/3871594

Meanwhile, this from Reddit. And bear in mind that the Chinese Communists closely control all social media in China, setting up local versions of Facebook and Twitter.

Why has there been no news from Wuhan for the last few days? Here is why...

The reporters are too afraid to go on site...except this one brave soul, Chen Qiushi (陈秋实). He is in trouble with the CPC and risking his life (with the disease or getting captured) to report on the situation in Wuhan.

His latest vlog: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXozpbomAns

Qiushi posed footage of a dead man sitting in a wheelchair in a Wuhan hospital in this video (Edit: this not the main point of his video but it is a piece of unique footage other than him just talking to show he actually went on site).

Conspiracy Theory

An interesting conspiracy theory is that Corona Virus escaped from a Chinese bio weapons lab. "I lived in USSR at the time of the Chernoby outbreak, and based on my own first-hand knowledge of how a communist regime responds to a crisis of such magnitude, I would like to offer my perspective on what’s going on in China right now, and what we might see happen in the future," writes one Reddit poster. He continues:

"The outbreak was China’s screw-up:

Based on the "officially-unconfirmed" information, it appears that the Corona Virus had somehow escaped China’s BSL-4 lab located in Wuhan, sometime around November (maybe a little earlier). Numerous sources say that back in November, a handful of Chinese “whistleblowers” had come forward, trying to raise an alarm around the new virus that had escaped the lab. These “whistleblowers” were actively suppressed by the Chinese government."

· Initial response was to cover it up:

The urgency in protecting the public from the pandemic will be used to justify the failure of authorities worldwide to explain the sudden disappearance of millions of men women and children. The authorities will say they were probably killed by virus and quickly carried off to the crematoriums. No time to document identity.
