Los Angeles, California- February 8h, 2020-For one of the most awaited award seasons of the year, the Oscar Awards, DPA was once again the sponsor for the 2020 Pre-Awards Gifting Suite. This year the premiere Media company set out to treat the stars to an array of exciting and cutting edge brands and products at the LUXE Sunset Boulevard Hotel in Brentwood over the Academy Awards Weekend.

DPA, a leader in celebrity gifting was founded by Nathalie Dubois- Sissoko, whose vision was to show her genuine appreciation to well deserved TV and Film artists who have inspired and uplifted audiences through their work by gifting them with some of America’s most exciting products.

The Founder Nathalie stresses that attributes her success to having access to unique and global exotic products and services at her Gifting events. “Celebrities want what’s new and exciting – they want something different! Different is what they get at the DPA suites, as Nathalie originally from France, handpick products from all corners of the globe. She also wants the DPA suite to act as a platform for entrepreneurs and small businesses in the country that are looking for a great opportunity to get their products in the hands of image makers and social influencers within the entertainment industry. This is what makes DPA stand out amongst the very many gifting suites that happen during award season in Los Angeles which seem to be focused only leveraging the PR potential of the celebrities.

The lounge welcomed many A-list celebrities including Kate Linder Christine Devine, Bonnie Pointer, Camila Banus, Academy award winning composer Hildur Guanodotti as well as many stars from Film and TV.

So what did the nominees get to enjoy this year? Well, travel was definitely a theme this year with several incredible travel brands offering their products and services. Ten well-known starts were personally invited to Relais and Chateaux’ Le Taha’s Island Resort and Spa in French Polynesia, only five minutes from the legendary Bora Bora. Another one of the decadent destinations was Soori Bali, in the Spiritual Hindu island of Bali located in Indonesia. Soori Bali features one of the 10 best swimming pools in Bali and is sure to delight.

Among the many beauty brands present at the DPA suite this year, many were on the “Clean” side this time: A Botanicals gifted a BLESSED Kit featuring four CBD-based Wellness products and A Method, a medical grade skincare by Tina Alster, M.D. gifted a collagen boost peptide eye cream and a TCA retexturizing cream. Other natural brands include The Honey Hive Soaps, which specializes in handmade and all-natural soaps and lip balms and Sakury Cosmeceuticals which represents a new generation of microdermabrasion - mineral silica hydro-microdermabrasion for cosmetic and derma care, and using 99.7% of pure quartz. Also present was Euglena, a beauty brand that provides Skin care which gives vitality to the skin with their versatile lineup of all-in-one cosmetic products developed from Euglena. This innovative brand focused on aging care cosmetics that focus on the skin's natural beauty, and inner beauty supplements and drinks. Glendale based Haas wellness center returned to the lounge, gifting stars certificates for HydraFacial, fire and ice facials and Trusculpt treatments.

A new brand to this year’s suite was Sparti Scents, a new and innovative fragrance brand that will excite and delight consumers with new textures and delivery systems that are fun, colorful, playful, engaging and interactive. It is where the art of fragrance meets the science of skincare with skin loving ingredients.

ShaliFrench startup Fazup was also at the event gifting the guests its anti-radiation patches, a revolutionary patch which blocks 95% of radiations coming from your phones. No doubt this year we saw lots of stars on the red carpet with the patches on their cellular phones!

Stars attending the DPA event also picked up last-minute items for the red carpet such as the Swiss Demarquet with their “Night and Day” bags, showcasing a special red-carpet collection this year. Madame Nadine presented a brand-new handmade collection of jewelry and some of her super long lace earrings, which were sure to be the talk of the city this year. Fallen Stars will also offer for beautiful jewelry with Herkimer diamonds, from its mine on the East Coast.

One of the most unique brands in this year DPA pre-Oscars gift suite was DeafMetal. Deafmetal® is an award-winning jewelry innovation for hearing aid users. Deafmetal transforms hearing aids into personalized and designer jewelry. After winning several innovation contests nationally and globally in less than one and a half years, Deafmetal® was pleased to showcase their product and also to meet the Oscar nominated deaf and hard of hearing movie stars and celebrities.

Some other fabulous brands present in the suite this year were: TomBoy X, Dreamy Creations, Maine Island Soap, the Lab Room, and Krama Heritage.

Wellness and wellbeing was also a feature this Oscar season to distress and bring the mind, body and spirit back in balance. Some of the services presents to the guests were treated to were: an intuitive service with Lisa from Truth in hands and as a special treat, a reading with Pet intuitive Keao. Guests were able to take a break from the gifting and sit in silence to bring their energy back to center while receiving these healing services, provided by Synergy.

The "Equality" Clutch for De Marquet

Guests enjoyed some music while sipping libations provided by Topo-Chino, social sparkling wine and Nutrivsta coconut water . For savory and sweet treats, they enjoyed Delicious food from Los Angeles based Deli restaurant, the Carvery Kitchen, Milk teas from Twinkle Brown Sugar, tasty chips from Chipz happen, Cupcakes from Linger and healthy smart water from Path water.

But keeping with the founder’s Nathalie’s vision, it was not all glamour as the 2020 gift suite has aligned itself this year with a few important humanitarian causes. One of these was Sierra Club- one of the country’s most influential grassroots environmental organization fighting to keeps Earths natural resources.

The DPA OSCAR Pre- Awards Gift Suite was a big success again and sure to be enjoyed by all who attended. We look forward to brining you the EMMY edition of this glamorous gifting suite, later in the year.
