Busiest UPS Store in the United States Closed Due to Covid-19 Outbreak

As with other such businesses in California, the staff is required to be vaccinated

Santa Monica UPS Store closed due to Covid outbreak.

A sign in the window of the United Parcel Service store at 1223 Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica, reports that the store is closed due to an outbreak of Covid-19 among the staff.

"Due to an outbreak of Covid and in compliance with CDC requirements, our store will be closed until 1/12/22," according to two signs in the window. This as of Monday, January 10th.

The Santa Monica UPS store boasts over $1,500,000 in annual gross sales. The store hosts about 1000 mail boxes that rent for $30 per month.

As with other such businesses in California, the staff is required to be vaccinated against Coronavirus.

The UPS Store is a subsidiary of United Parcel Service which provides, according to its website, shipping, shredding, printing, fax, passport photos, personal and business mailboxes, and notary services.
