A controversial tweet from former Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard, is raising a lot of eyebrows.

@TulsiGabbard·tweeted: This war and suffering could have easily been avoided if Biden Admin/NATO had simply acknowledged Russia's legitimate security concerns regarding Ukraine's becoming a member of NATO, which would mean US/NATO forces right on Russia's border."

Putin does not see NATO as a defensive alliance. He has seen NATO offensive operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

"NATO is not an offensive military organization. There are no security concerns of a NATO presence," tweeted Jeffrey Abbott.
