Marco Rubio in Hot Water for Tweeting This Screenshot of Ukraine Pres. Zelensky During Zoom Call

While there is nothing obvious about Zelensky's location to be taken from the photo, the screenshot may have been helpful to Russia

People are criticizing Florida Sen. Marco Rubio (R), after he apparently tweeted this screenshot of Ukraine President Volodomyr Zelensky speaking to Senators Saturday morning, from a bunker in Kyiv. US Security services apparently warned Senators not to tweet photos, least they reveal the endangered man's location to Russian intelligence or military.

While there is nothing obvious about Zelensky's location to be taken from the photo, the screenshot may have been helpful to Russia during the actual call, to reveal the frequency or technology he was using at the time.

"Is Marco Rubio trying to get Zelenskyy killed by posting pics of his whereabouts after being told not to. Only Republicans!" tweeted one woman.

"I just called Marco Rubio's and Steve Daines' offices demanding that they take down their screenshots of the Zoom call with Pres. Zelenskyy. Marco's office number is 202-224-3041. Steve's is 202-224-2651. I also suggested they be investigated by the State Dept," tweeted Lynn.

"Dude, what the hell is wrong with you? You are the Vice Chairman of the Select Committee on Intelligence, and a Member of the Foreign Relations Committee. You were specifically asked NOT to share this briefing with Zelensky. Why would you risk his safety for a tweet?" tweeted Michael Steele.

Some on twitter compared the tweet to revealing the location of anne frank to the Nazi's while she was in hiding in Amsterdam in 1944.
