Ukrainian Military Detonates Ammunition Depo in Crimea Tuesday morning August 16th

American HIMARS (High Mobility Armed Rocket Systems) have been credited for much of the success the Ukraine Army has had

The Ukraine military has detonated a large ammunition storage facility in Russian occupied Crimea. Video of the explosions were posted to Telegram and other social media. The explosions continued for a good twenty minutes.

"Yet another “fire incident” at a Crimean ammo depot close to Dzhankoi, detonations ongoing," tweeted Illia Ponomarenko, reported for the English language website Kyiv Independent. "As always, for absolutely no reason whatsoever." He was referring to the Russian's history of blaming explosions behind their lines on anything but the Russian military.

American HIMARS (High Mobility Armed Rocket Systems) have been credited for much of the success the Ukraine Army has had recently in precision strikes on Russian military facilities. Ukraine possesses just 16 systems, firing seven rockets at a time. Each rocket costs $115,000.
