Tickets Required for 3rd Annual Palm Springs Passion 4 Pinot Festival Grand Tasting to be held Saturday, January 28, 2023

The 3rd annual Palm Springs Passion 4 Pinot Noir Festival will be held Friday, January 27 and Saturday, January 28 at the Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa (71-333 Dinah Shore Drive, Rancho Mirage, CA). The two-day festival is a premier event on the international wine calendar and includes a luncheon, wine pairing dinners, and grand tasting.

Passion 4 Pinot is a celebration of all things Pinot Noir and is the largest Pinot Noir focused tasting event in southern California, drawing attendees from all over the U.S. With 80 top-tier California pinot Noir producing wineries pouring over 225 labels, the festival showcases the varietal, as well as the artists and crafts behind it.

"This is truly a unique festival, attracting California's top Pinot Noir producing wineries," said Festival Founder David Fraschetti. "Whether you are a wine connoisseur or are just getting started learning about the complexities and uncompromising characteristics of this variety, Passion 4 Pinot has it all."

The popular grand tasting will be held Saturday, January 28, from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and highlights more than 80 wineries featuring the top Pinot Noir producers from California including Cirq., Miner, Rodney Strong, Twomey, Williams Selyem, Papapietro-Perry, Domaine Della, Roar, and many more. Guests will have the opportunity to engage with winery owners, winemakers, and other leading wine personalities and enthusiasts. Tickets to the grand tasting are $125 - $175 per person.

"These wineries have achieved a stellar reputation for producing truly outstanding and highly sought-after Pinot Noir," said Fraschetti. "They will be pouring their amazing cult classic collectible wine and educating guests about the labor of love that is winemaking."

Friday's events include three exclusive wine and dine themed offerings featuring one-of-a-kind opportunities to meet winemakers, sample new vintages, and learn more about the regions where the grapes are produced, all while enjoying a gourmet meal. "Sun, Wind & Wine. The Santa Lucia Highland Luncheon" will be held from 11:30 am to 1:30 p.m. Both "The Russian River Valley 40th Anniversary Dinner" and "A Hidden Gem: The Anderson Valley 40th Anniversary Dinner" take place from 6 -8:30 p.m. Tickets range from $125 - $175 per person and space is limited.

Proceeds from the wine-focused silent auction, which takes place at the Saturday grand tasting, benefits Alzheimer's Coachella Valley, a non-profit providing support and services at low or no-cost for Coachella Valley residents living with cognitive impairment, their families and care partners.
